The Newest Hayseed

The Killer Hayseeds would like to introduce the newest member of the Hayseeds family, Jillian Rae!

Jillian is one of the finest musicians we have ever worked with. She’s tremendously talented, self assured, confident, warm and endearing in personality. She loves to smile and perform as well as meet people.  She plays fiddle, acoustic guitar and has one of the best voices to ever grace the music industry!  She is currently based out of Minneapolis, but originally grew up in Eveleth, Minnesota, where she began playing the violin at age 7.  By age 9 she was performing on stage with every opportunity that came her way including an appearance at The White House!  At St. Cloud State University, she not only continued her classical training, but studied all ethnic forms of violin as well. She earned a degree in music/violin and has an additional degree in performance. Jillian spent the last three years working with a bluegrass band called Two Many Banjos playing all original material with very intricate arrangements. She also has tremendous instincts in the writing of new songs. Having recorded five cd’s in three years, she’s no stranger to the studio or live shows, nor to the hard work and dedication it takes to really stand out in the music business. Now, at age 25, she is joining forces with The Killer Hayseeds. Jillian’s official debut with The Killer Hayseeds will be at Toby Keith’s “I Love This Bar & Grill” in St. Louis Park, MN on Friday, June 25th.
